19th Annual Conference on Illinois History

The annual Conference on Illinois History is scheduled for October 4-5, 2018, at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in downtown Springfield and is the state's largest meeting devoted to the history of the Prairie State. 

The conference includes 24 sessions that feature topics such as politics, Abraham Lincoln, archaeology, living history, historic preservation, race, music, immigration, and the Civil War.  Teachers will benefit from workshops on a variety of topics. 

This year the Illinois Association of Museums will be presenting two workshops and sessions in addition.  For more information visit the Conference web page.
